MASK OF DANTE

In March, 2021, Vasily Klyukin's sculpture "Mask of Dante" was unveiled at Zug's Postplatz to commemorate the worldwide celebration of the 700th anniversary of Dante Alighieri's death. "The Mask of Dante" is part of the world-famous exhibition "In Dante Veritas" It was previously exhibited during the Venice Biennale, 2019, and before that at the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg. The opening ceremony was attended by the consul of the Italian Embassy in Switzerland, as well as representatives of the city authorities.
The next stop of the sculpture in its Swiss tour was the central embankment of Lucerne, where it had been on display from June till August, 2021.
