Assotiation: Serotonin
Serotonin is the mediator of the central nervous system or the hormone of happiness. The activity of our brain is built on constant competition between the centers of positive and negative emotions. Serotonin is responsible for suppressing negative emotions and preventing us from falling into a depression. With our brain in a constant sensory and emotional overdrive, serotonin helps us focus on the most significant events, removing unnecessary signals.
